Kaua’i Ballroom Dance Club’s Sixth Anniversary Ball

The Kaua’i Ballroom Dance Club celebrated its sixth anniversary with a ball recently at the Kaua’i Marriott Resort and Beach Club’s Grand Ballroom. The event attracted close to 200 guests, who filled the ballroom and depleted the buffet. Both the Lihue and Hanapepe chapters gave the crowd opportunity to ooh and ahh at their slick moves during an exhibition. Mayor Bernard Carvalho and wife Regina showed off some of their own moves, and the mayor also helped the dancers out by stepping up to the mic with song. Some dancers got into the Halloween spirit and arrived in costume.
