Emmi And Ryan Esaki Win A $100 Foodland Shopping Spree

Emmi Esaki and husband Ryan were selecting groceries at Foodland in preparation for their meal Sunday evening when they were approached randomly by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative, who asked an easy question. Since they answered the query correctly, the couple was awarded a $100 gift certificate to the store.

“I shop here because I can use my rewards card,” said Emmi. “And they have good, local service.”

Ryan owns an Internet business, ukulele-underground.com, and graduated from Kapaa High. Emmi is a librarian at Kapaa High School and graduated from Kaua’i High School.

“I like reading about the local businesses and checking the ads,” said Emmi about MidWeek Kaua’i.
