Chefs Compete in Tasting Kauai Coconut Cookoff
Foodies turned out for the inaugural Tasting Kauai Coconut Cookoff Oct. 1 in Kapaa. Part of the 20th annual Coconut Festival, the cookout paired up eight local chefs from around the island. Using locally sourced produce, chefs competed in two rounds, creating dishes that showcased the featured ingredient: coconut.
