Sluggers Mash at Da Bash
In an event that featured a mixed plate of baseball, a movie in the park and ‘ono food, hundreds of youth baseball players from around the state converged on Kaua’i for the Lihu’e Baseball League’s annual “Da Bash” Tournament at Lihu’e Baseball Field. The tournament, which featured 32 teams in multiple age divisions (the accompanying photos portray action from the Bronco division made up of players ages 11-12), took place over Memorial Day weekend. These photos are from Memorial Day, May 30, and feature action between the Lihu’e Yankees (pictured in white pinstriped jerseys), the Brewers (blue jerseys), the Makakilo Kapolei Youth Baseball League Angels (red jerseys) and Ha’aheo Maui (white jerseys).
