Footballers Capture the Flag
The term “getting flagged” usually means a penalty is imminent when used to describe action within traditional football. However, in the sport’s less violent form, capturing the flag is the name of the game.
The Waimea Thunder (blue jerseys) clashed with the Kapa’a Eagles (green jerseys) and Anahola Animals (white jerseys) in Kaua’i Police Activities League flag football action June 4 at North Vidinha Stadium Field. The matchup featured youngsters in the 5- to 7-year-old age group.
