Michelle Clark Wins A $100 Kmart Spree

Michelle Clark was shopping for Halloween costumes last week at Kmart when a MidWeek Kaua’i representative randomly approached her. Because she was kind enough to stop and answer a very simple question correctly, the biologist won a $100 gift certificate.

“Maybe I’ll get some stuff for the house,” said Michelle of what she plans to do with the money.

One thing she knows for sure, and that is how she will spend her Halloween.

“Taking the kids trick-or-treating,” said the mother of 15-year-old Kapa’a High School student Orion and 9-year-old Kapa’a Elementary student Maya, who plans to dress as Lady Gaga.

“I like reading the stories about all the wonderful people,” says Michelle when asked what she likes most about MidWeek Kaua’i.
