Slack Key Masters Help Kaua’i School
It was a day of music and friends, all for a good cause, when Ledward Kaapana and Mike Kaawa headlined The Hawaiian Masters of Slack Key Guitar at Common Ground Kaua’i in Kilauea. A fundraiser for Natural Bridges School, the event raised $20,000, says benefit director Sonja Moffat. “Led and Mike were amazing!” she adds.
Also performing were Burning Bush and Iris Downing, as well as both hula and fireknife dancers.
