YWCA Walk A Mile In Her Shoes
Issues of rape, sexual assault and gender violence were brought to public attention in a lighthearted way at an April 20 event that drew more than 200 men willing to wear high-heel shoes in the name of justice. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes at Kaua’i Community College, cosponsored by the school and the YWCA Kaua’i, provided an opportunity for men to raise awareness about violence against women.
