“We just started,” joked Maria about their gift-shopping adventure the Saturday before Christmas.

They decided to stop by Times to look for some locally made adult beverages.

“It’s convenient and they have good prices,” said Richard of the Lihu’e grocery store.

When the Kaua’i High School graduates were asked why they like to read MidWeek Kaua’i, they came up with many reasons.

“There are a lot of different types of articles about fun stuff,” said Maria, a county employee who enjoys catching up on good news.

“And it’s free,” added Richard of Kikiaola Construction Company, who also enjoys seeing photos of people at local happenings in the Pa’ina pages.
