WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas … The Player’s Edge!

COMEDIAN TERRY FATOR and Taylor Makakoa, his onstage assistant, visited with Billy V during his live broadcast from The Cal on Hawaiian 105 KINE. They told him they would love to perform in Hawaii. The America’s Got Talent winner recently celebrated hosting 1 million guests in his Mirage showroom. The couple will vacation at one of their favorite spots (Hawaii) later this month. By the way, if his wife looks familiar, you might recognize the local girl from her international modeling that includes Vogue, Maxim and Kim Taylor Reece’s 2013 calendar.

KIMO’S VEGAS TRIVIA … Didja know? Kim Taylor Reece is color-blind.

THE VENETIAN AND Palazzo has bad news/good news for guests. Resort fees, like the price of everything (except the stock I own), are going up. It’ll cost you an extra Lincoln per night to bunk at the house that Sheldon Adelson built. Where’s the good news? Patrons of the hotel can opt out of the resort fee … The catch? If you opt out but use the services normally included in the fee, you have to pay the regular (does that mean inflated?) price. What does a $25 resort fee get you? Admission to the fitness center, Internet access, boarding pass printing, unlimited local and toll-free calls, a newspaper and drink coupons.

IF THINKING ABOUT National Hamburger Day May 28 has you salivating, why wait? Well, one good reason to hold off is they are free on that day at Smashburger (more than 200 locations, including Las Vegas), but only if your name is Burger or some other iteration, like Berger, Wineberger or Rosenberger … I wonder if they know that “Kimo” is Hawaiian for “Burger”?

THE LIGHTS ARE on, but no one’s at home … Gold Spike Hotel and Casino has seven’d out. Expect an announcement on the prop-erty’s redevelopment from Tony Hsieh’s Downtown Project. His other company, online retailer Zappos, is moving its HQ and investing heavily in Downtown Vegas and its revitalization.

WHAT DO YOU call a topless magician … an exhibitional illusionist? May Day was Lei Day, and it also was the debut of the “Centerfolds of Magic” at the Plaza Downtown. The show’s head illusionist is 2009 Penthouse Pet of the Year, Taya Parker. Bet you won’t see any of her slight of hand …

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN has cancelled her summer Vegas residency at the Flamingo to be with her sister Rona, who has brain cancer.
