WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas … the Player’s Edge!

IT’S THAT TIME of the year when celebrities salivate at the chance to show off their bodies and make a few bucks hosting a Vegas pool party. Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett was more than happy to do the same with her post-birth body and to promote her new WE reality show Kendra On Top. By the way, you can’t tell from the image, but she’s wearing a monokini and it’s not something you catch … well, maybe if you’re lucky.

DANCING WITH THE STARS is coming to the New Tropicana Las Vegas. Local girl Tia Carrere, Carson Kressley and Joey Fatone are a few of the stars who will be paired with the DWTS Las Vegas Troupe that will perform routines from the show and more. Get your tickets ($40-plus) for the stage version of the highly popular TV show April 14 through July 7. And in typical Las Vegas show style, plan to hang out for the meet ‘n’ greet photo op after each show.

THE PASSENGERS on a JetBlue flight bound for Las Vegas had to subdue the pilot after the co-pilot locked him out of the cockpit. Shortly after flight 161 left JFK, the captain started freaking out, saying there was a bomb on board and al-Qaida was going to take them down … Let’s hope the passengers had better luck in the casino.

AIRLINE TRIVIA … the FAA requires all pilots for scheduled airlines to get a medical clearance. They must disclose all physical and psychological conditions and medications they consume every year if they’re under 40, and every six months for more-senior fliers.

THE NEVADA Brothel Owners Association wants to legalize the world’s oldest profession in Las Vegas. And if you think about it … it’s totally logical. They estimate that there are as many as 30,000 working illegally, and millions of dollars changing hands every year. Purveyors of prostitution are procreating a bill that would make a red light district that’s subject to state health laws – but, more importantly, a sin tax base.

DID YOU KNOW it’s illegal to make porn in Vegas? But what you do in the privacy of your hotel room, well …

THE LAS VEGAS Review Journal‘s Best of Las Vegas is out and it’s a must-have to create your bucket list of Vegas To Do’s: No surprise that Michaels was voted Best Arts and Crafts Store, The Bellagio is the Best Strip Hotel and Best Attraction for its Fountains of Bellagio, Donnie and Marie (now just Marie) won Best All-Around Performer, and Mac King took home the award for Best Bargain Show (but it’s a good one at any price). NOT THAT anyone needs an excuse but – cheers! – it’s National Beer Week…

VEGAS SPORTS books make Rory McIlroy a 5/1 fave to win the Masters, with Tiger Woods second at 4/1. At the other end of the spectrum is 60 to 1 long-shot Martin Kaymer.
