GAMBLE IN A TENT? That’s what the owner of the historic Moulin Rouge Casino is proposing to protect its gaming license. The temporary casino is temporarily scheduled to open and close after eight hours June 19.

HOW MUCH DOES a Vegas parking space cost? Clark County officials have just approved $500,000 to add 20 more stalls to the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. A few bucks more than the $4,000 spent to erect it in 1959 … Perhaps we should be taking our pix with the blacktop instead?

NEVADA HAS officially become the first state to license driverless cars. The state is allowing Google to test “self-driving” Toyota Prius cars on state and local roads. About the only thing these automobiles can’t do is make a right turn on red – that’s because it’s optional for a real driver. It’s easy to spock one “robo car” – just look for the red plates with an infinity sign.
