Never Forget Sandy Galas Golf Tourney
The fifth annual Never Forget Sandy G golf tournament was held Aug. 19 at Kaua‘i Lagoons golf course at the Marriott. The tournament raises awareness about domestic violence and aims to keep the case of Sandra Galas alive. Proceeds benefit the YWCA Kaua‘i, an entity dedicated to serving women who are domestic violence victims. A young mother of two boys, Galas was murdered in 2006 in Ele‘ele.
