If you want to feel good more of the time rather than less of the time, affirm things that are true for you. Rather than running a monologue of, “I am stressed. I am unhealthy. I am unfocused,” start affirming truths, such as, “I am doing my best. I am blessed with a job. I am a caring person,” etc. Only you can make a lasting change in how you feel about yourself — which in turn can positively affect others.
