Benita Papagayo Wins A $100 Safeway Shopping Spree

Benita Papagayo was on her way to pick up some groceries at Safeway when she was randomly approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative, who asked her a simple question. Because she answered correctly, the Kapa’a resident won a $100 gift certificate to the local grocery store.

“I always come over here on my break,” says the Panda Express employee, who works just a few doors down.

Benita, wife of operating engineer Philip, with whom she has four grown children and five grandchildren, loves to cook with the products she purchases from Safeway. She also loves to check out the advertisements and learn about new businesses every week in MidWeek Kaua’i.
