July Is ‘Recycle for Keiki’ Month

July is “Recycle for Keiki” month for Mobi PCS and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii (RMHC-Hawaii), so this is your chance to recycle your old electronics responsibly.

You can take your old phones, PDAs, iPods, digital cameras, tablets, chargers, etc. (any condition, any age) to any of the 10 Mobi PCS stores or 35 dealers statewide (visit mobipcs.com/locations for the nearest location to you).

“Our Recycling for Keiki program is a winwin for the community on a number of levels,” explains Bill Jarvis, Mobi PCS president and CEO. “Not only does the program help remove these devices from our landfills, it turns something that merely takes up space in your home and transforms it into financial support for the keiki who rely on Ronald McDonald House during a critical time.”

Every cent raised from this recycling event will be donated to RMHCHI.

While you’re there, enter to win the drawing for a Samsung Galaxy S2 phone, plus one year of service ($1,000 value), or a second-place prize of a Hele MiFi plus one year of service ($750 value).

Mobi PCS has been supporting RMHC-HI since 2008 by providing families with complimentary phones and phone service while they are guests.

Between that donation and recycling, Mobi has provided more than $42,000 to RMHC-HI during the past five years. clickchick@ outlook.com
