Dana Abell Wins A $100 Safeway Shopping Spree

Dana Abell, owner of Crush Boutique in Kapa’a, was walking over to the neighboring Safeway when she was approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative. Because she easily answered a simple question, the mother of Alena (4) and Kalalea (7) won a $100 gift certificate to the grocery store.

“I like all their organic produce,” said Dana, who shops at Safeway at least twice a week.

Dana is excited to use the extra spending money toward holiday meal shopping.

What the 2004 Kapa’a High School grad enjoys most about MidWeek Kaua’i are the local features.

“I like the stories, I like to learn about interesting people who live here,” she said.
