David Conales Wins A $100 Shopping Spree At Times

David Conales was thrilled to win a $100 gift certificate to Times Supermarket for correctly answering a simple question posed by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative.

“They have cheap prices,” the Lawai Valley resident said regarding why he specifically likes to shop at Times.

David was picking up some items to make a kalua pig and cabbage dinner for the evening. He and Department of Education employee Rosemary Abreu have a daughter, Sarah.

“I always see my friends in there,” said David about MidWeek Kaua’i. “I read it every week.”

David, who graduated from Kaua’i High School in 1977, works in the maintenance department at Kaua’i Marriott Resort.
