Delton Johnson Wins A $100 Safeway Spree

Delton Johnson did not expect to win a $100 shopping spree at one of his favorite grocery stores last week just for answering a very simple question correctly.

Delton, business manager at Kanuikapono Public Charter School, shops at Safeway in Kapaa about three times a week because he enjoys the freshly baked goods, especially the sesame bagels and sandwich buns.

Originally from California, Delton has lived on Kaua’i for 12 years. He lives in Kapahi with his dogs, horses and cats.

What he enjoys most about MidWeek Kaua’i are the photos and seeing people having a good time around the island.

“It’s fun to see social things I miss,” he says.
