Diane Kam Wins A $100 Foodland Shopping Spree

Foodland patron Diane Kam was excited to win a $100 gift certificate to one of her favorite grocery stores just for answering a simple question correctly. The Department of Education personnel clerk shops frequently at the store, and especially likes to browse its organic food selection.

“I try to stay away from baked goods; I try to close my eyes,” she joked. “It’s hard though.”

Diane lives in Wailua and is the mother of 26-year-old Mackie.

Aside from the ads, Diane likes to regularly peruse the calendar in MidWeek Kaua’i. She also enjoys reading people’s answers to the weekly Kaua’i Poll. “It’s interesting what people say.”

When asked what she will do with her extra holiday money, she said, “I plan to donate some to church or to a family.”
