Isa Segismundo Wins A $100 Safeway Spree

Isa Segismundo’s eyes lit up when she discovered she had won a $100 gift certificate to Safeway just for correctly answering an easy question posed by a MidWeek Kaua‘i representative.

“I really love their affordable organics line,” she raves about the Kapa‘a grocery store.

Isa is originally from Oklahoma and moved to the island from San Francisco 10 years ago. She is married to Ringo, with whom she has a 12-year-old daughter, Kanani, who attends Island School.

Isa, a seamstress and Marriott employee, says the best part about MidWeek Kaua‘i is the cover stories. She also likes reading the “Business Roundtable” articles.

“I find it very interesting, the entrepreneurial spirit on Kaua‘i,” she says.
