Jona Ho Wins A $100 Safeway Shopping Spree

“I’ve always wanted to be the mystery shopper winner,” said Jona Ho of Kapa’a when she learned she is this week’s winner of a $100 gift certificate to Safeway.

While shopping with her daughter Gabrielle and nephew Keona, she was randomly approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative and knew right away the correct answer to the simple question posed.

“I like that they put the sales in there,” she said regarding MidWeek Kaua’i.

The part-time registered nurse at Wilcox Memorial Hospital also enjoys reading the Kaua’i Poll.

“Those are funny,” said the 2003 Kapa’a High School graduate.
