Kehau Kukahiko Wins A $100 Safeway Spree

Kehau Kukahiko has been hoping to be a Safeway mystery shopper winner for a long time, and she finally got her lucky break last week when she was approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative and answered our very simple question correctly.

Kehau, a dentist office receptionist, shops at Safeway at least once a week and particularly likes the grocery store’s selection of meat, sushi and beer.

She also prefers Safeway because of the special discounts it offers, such as buy one meat item, get one free.

An avid reader of MidWeek Kaua’i, the mother of three – Kalani (19), Kaili (17) and Kaeoikahaku (15) – says, “I love the pictures and the sales.”

Kehau is originally from O’ahu and moved to Kaua’i in 1997. Her partner of 15 years is Richard Garcia.
