Kirsten Flood Wins A $100 Safeway Shopping Spree

Kirsten Flood was about to “enjoy the summer’s day” with recently purchased ice and beer from Safeway when she was approached by a MidWeek Kaua‘i representative.

After answering an easy question correctly, the Kipu Ranch resident was elated to discover she had won a $100 gift certificate to the Kapa‘a store.

“It always has little fun things to buy,” she says regarding Safeway’s gift shop at the front of the store.

The cosmetologist also prefers to shop at the grocery store for its focaccia bread and variety of specialty foods available.

Kirsten, who has several four-legged friends including cats, dogs and horses, likes to read MidWeek Kaua‘i‘s Poll and look for fun and entertaining answers.

“MidWeek also is a great way to find out what’s going on,” she says.
