Lei Rivera Wins A $100 Shopping Spree At Times Supermarket

Lei Rivera was delighted to receive a $100 gift certificate to Times Supermarket last weekend just for giving the correct answer to a simple question posed by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative.

With a smile on her face, the Puhi resident explained how much she enjoys shopping at the local grocery store, especially because of its convenient location at Kukui Grove Center.

“I just like coming here,” she said.

Lei teaches Hawaiian studies at King Kaumuali’i Elementary School. She is married to Haku, with whom she has three children (Taili, Haku Jr. and Nakoa) and eight grandchildren.

“It has the news,” said the Kapa’a High School graduate, when asked what she enjoys about MidWeek Kaua’i. “I love to find out what happened on the weekend and see everyone’s photos.”

She also appreciates that the publication is family-oriented.

“It’s Kaua’i,” she said. “Family is what we are all about.”
