Marie Manzano Wins A $100 Times Shopping Spree

Marie Manzano was picking up some groceries from Times Supermarket in Lihu’e last week when she was randomly approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative. The Kalaheo resident was excited to discover she had won a $100 gift certificate to the grocery store just for answering a very simple question correctly.

“It has everything I need,” she says about why she prefers to shop at Times.

Marie is married to Jay, president of Unlimited Construction, with whom she has three boys: Jayke, an Island School senior who plans to study biomedical engineering at UC-Davis next year; Jaycob, an 11-year-old Island School student; and Jayson, a mechanical engineering sophomore at UH.

“MidWeek keeps me in touch,” says Marie when asked what she enjoys most about the publication.
