Rebecca Finer Wins A $100 Shopping Spree At Foodland

Rebecca Finer was taking advantage of her day off from work last week by doing some grocery shopping at Foodland. What she didn’t expect was to win a $100 gift certificate to the store just for correctly answering a simple question posed by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative.

“It’s close to my home,” she said about Kapa’a Foodland. “They’re friendly, and I check out fast.”

Rebecca is the mother of two adult children, Matthew and Daniel, and grandmother of Annmarie (2) and Kerryn (11 months). She is a Walmart employee and a graduate of Kaua’i High School.

And she enjoys MidWeek Kaua’i.

“I like to see what’s going on and see people’s pictures,” said the Wailua resident, who also likes to learn new recipes and how to grow vegetables from the publication’s various food articles.
