Simon Potts Wins $100 Foodland Card

Simon Potts was thrilled to find out he had won a $100 gift certificate to Foodland just for correctly answering a very simple question posed by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative last week at Foodland in Princeville.

“I like the wine selection which is really well-supplied with great choices,” the friendly, approachable North Shore resident says of the grocery store he patronizes at least once a week. “The organic produce section is also well stocked.”

Simon, formerly head of acquisition of recording artists for Capitol Records, Elektra, Arista and Island records, moved to Kaua’i in 1998 to change his lifestyle and “escape the madness” of the major cities he once called home – London, New York and L.A. He is now the owner of the bed and breakfast Hanalei Surfboard House.

“I enjoy Kaua’i Midweek for the fabulous articles on local people and businesses and to keep current on local affairs,” he says.
