’Burners Befuddle Bulls
In a match featuring fiery competitors at their finest, the Afterburners had just enough fuel in their tank as the squad secured a 1-0 victory over the Bulls to claim the Kaua’i Men’s Soccer Association Championship in a July 31 match at Lydgate Park.
The game’s lone goal came on a corner kick in the match’s first half that saw Afterburner Ely Emory (No. 15 pictured below in a black jersey) head the cross past the goalkeeper.
