In a performance recital Feb. 2 celebrating 20 years, Leilani Rivera Low and her halau presented talented students ages 4 to 60 at Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall. The colorful show of hula, Tahitian and Maori dance and music featured the Makaha Sons, Mama’ane Kanahele and ‘ohana from Ni’ihau. Artists also included Valetta Jeremiah, Michael Keale and Uncle Larry Rivera (Leilani’s father).
