29th Annual Tahiti Fete
Hanalei Canoe Club presented its 29th annual Tahiti Fete July 5 at Hanalei Bay. The fundraiser sought to foster and perpetuate Hawaiian culture and practices, and included local crafts, food, games and music. On the water, participants raced around the bay, while a double-hull canoe also allowed people to experience paddling at a leisurely pace.
