Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Residents, staff and families of Mahelona Memorial Hospital gathered on the Kapaa bike path Oct. 4 for a breast cancer awareness walk. This was the local version of “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” put on by American Cancer Society. Attendees were festooned in bright pink for the early morning fundraiser, which brought in $1,500 for American Cancer Society programs.
