The Jan. 21 “Doggie Walk to Save Lives” brought proud pet owners to Lihi Park in Kapa’a for a 1or 3-mile stroll on the park’s multiuse path. The event benefits Kaua’i Humane Society as well as Malama Pono Health Services, a nonprofit aiming to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, STDs and infectious hepatitis on Kaua’i.
