Hospital Patients Enjoy A Beach Outing
Patients at Samuel Mahelona Memorial and Kaua’i Veterans Memorial hospitals joined volun- teers and dedicated staff for a recreational outing and picnic Aug. 23 at Lydgate Beach Park. Nursing students from Okinawa traveled here specifically for the event, one of two summer out- ings to the beach, and helped those who wanted to take a dip in the water.
