‘Kaua’i Loves Elvis’
Kaua’i Visitors Bureau executive director Sue Kanoho did it again, pulling off a sold-out “Kaua’i Loves Elvis” concert Jan. 17 at Kaua’i Marriott. With Elvis tribute artist Tim Welch as The King, the night’s highlights included an ono buffet and a silent auction benefiting Kaua’i United Way. The event also marked the 40th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s “Aloha From Hawai’i” concert, which aired Jan. 14, 1973. Kaua’i Visitors Bureau is a private, nonprofit organization that markets the island of Kaua’i. To learn more, go to kauaidiscovery.com.
