Kealia Sunday Market
Kealia Sunday Market, across from Kealia Beach park, provided a relaxing afternoon Sept. 9. The weekly market is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features arts and crafts, Kaua‘i-grown produce, plants and flowers, ice cold coconuts and ono barbecue from Recessions. Music and hula by Aunty Ilima Rivera and her daughters (granddaughters of music legend Larry Rivera of Coco Palms) added to the lovely afternoon. Organizers seek vendors selling local crafts and produce. To learn more, call Joe Adorno, 822-5056.
