Koloa Plantation Days Park Celebration

Local art, keiki rides and performances by comedy favorites Frank De Lima and Augie T and kachi-kachi greats Wally Rita and Los Kauaianos were part of the annual Park Celebration at Annie Knudsen park July 30. Ending the nine-day Koloa Plantation Days Festival, the Park Celebration began with a parade through Koloa Town that highlighted the various cultures that flourished in plantation times. The festivities concluded with a silent auction and music by Henry Kapono Ka’aihue.
