Lydgate Beach Park Volunteer Cleanup
Teams of volunteers helped clean organic debris and litter from Lydgate Beach Park in Kapa’a April 20 for Earth Day. Tommy Noyes, general coordinator for Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park, headed the effort, and also coordinates volunteers year-round for park cleanups. In addition to treats and snacks, breadfruit trees donated by National Tropical Botanical Gardens Breadfruit Institute were part of the swag. To learn more, go to kamalani.org.
