Making A Raquet For Charity
By MidWeek Kaua’i Staff
Hopeful hackers of all ages turned out to support a worthy cause at the Poipu Kai Tennis Club on a sun-soaked July 24.
The charity tournament was part of the 2011 Koloa Plantation Days celebration, and proceeds from sponsors and the players’ $20 admission fee went to support Kaua’i United Way.
Talk about a stroke of kindness for a worthy cause.
