Pu’uwai Canoe Club Regatta Fundraiser
Pu’uwai Canoe Club held its regatta fundraiser last month at Hanama’ulu Beach Park. Youth, novice, open women and men, and master and senior master crew divisions from around the island raced in outrigger canoes. Scores for youth first, second and third place na opio were: Hanalei with 107, Niumalu with 96 and Pu’uwai with 80. Scores for first, second and third place overall were: Pu’uwai Canoe Club with 256, Hanalei with 242 and Kaiola with 177. The next regatta will be July 14, hosted by Kaiola Canoe Club.
