Run For Pa’a

The second Run for Pa’a Feb. 17 in Po’ipu attracted nearly 300 participants and brought in around $7,000. The run raised funds for Pa’akamana’o Matiu Lee, who was born with a congenital heart defect and had his first open heart surgery at 10 days old and a second at 4 months old. Organizer Sundey Dillberg, owner of O.F.F. Studio in Kukui’ula Shopping Center, was moved to see island residents come together for the cause. “This has been a day to be proud to be from Kaua’i,” she said.
