Slack Key Guitar Festival

The 19th annual Ki-ho’alu Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival, “Kaua’i Style,” was held Nov. 20 at Kaua’i Beach Resort. The concert, sponsored by MidWeek Kaua’i, featured renowned kiho’alu players from throughout the islands including Ledward Ka’apana, Rev. Dennis Kamakahi, Brother Noland and LT Smooth. Organized by Milton Lau, the festival also featured local musicians Paul Togioka, Pancho Graham and Sandy and Doug McMaster.
