A Taste of Kauai: Yesterday and Today
Waipa Foundation and Tasting Kauai held the year’s first monthly “A Taste of Kauai: Yesterday and Today” tour Jan. 24 in Waipa ahupuaa. Participants explored loi and learned about significant foods, food plants, growing methods, and Hawaiian agricultural and land management concepts and approaches. The event concluded with a locally sourced lunch.
