Weekend Warriors Wail Away
The Kapa’a Armory Park hosted an annual softball tournament that, since the 1980s, has been held across the Pacific. The United Softball Tournament featured teams from around the Pacific Rim, including Singapore, Canada and the U.S. West Coast. These photos portray action from a game played May 20 during which women from Kaua’i (pictured in white shirts) teamed up with a team from the Bay Area and eventually won the contest.
