YWCA Kaua’i 90Th Annual Meeting
YWCA Kaua’i supporters gathered Sept. 29 at Hukilau Lanai in Kapa’a for the nonprofit’s 90th annual meeting. Keynote speaker Dr. Lualolo Hong addressed its theme this year: “Women and Men as Allies Building Trust and Shared Ownership.”
Victim-centered advocacy is part of YWCA Kaua’i’s mission, as is fostering the empowerment of women. YWCA of Kaua’i was founded in 1921 by Elsie Wilcox. To learn more, go to ywcakauai.org.
