KAUA‘I MIDWEEK 7
On Oʻahu, we’re excited to be in the process of a major remodel at the Hawaiʻi Kai Safeway and store enhance- ments at three other locations in Honolulu, Kāneʻohe and Kapolei. The highly upgrad- ed Hawaiʻi Kai location will feature an expanded deli, produce and wine selections, a fresh seafood and poke section, enhanced ready-to- serve options and a full-ser- vice butcher block. We ex- pect the transformation to be completed later this spring.

In December 2020, we opened our newest loca- tion on the Big Island. The 63,000-square-foot store offers a variety of fresh of- ferings, local products and prepared foods. The new store’s footprint is 25 percent larger than the former Kona Safeway.
