Allegiant Stadium is the place to be for sports! Major League Soccer and Liga MX will hold the 2021 Leagues Cup final there Sept. 22. And, the Pac-12 football champi- onship game will take place there Dec. 3.
• A tribute show, titled 27–A Musical Adventure, is held on Sundays at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, featur- ing nods to icons like Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse (27shows.com)
While on the topic of mu- sic, the first Aloha Island Concert, organized by Jai & Kai Productions, took place at Stoney’s Rockin’ Coun- try on July 21. Promotional partners Jai Alboro (owner of 9th Island Kava Lounge) and singer/songwriter Kai- po organized this successful event. Concertgoers were en- tertained by the local sounds of Ekolu, Tenelle, Siaosi and Shaggamon. Follow @alo- ha_island_concert_lv on In- stagram for updates on future events.
Of course, we are excited for the Island Showdown be- tween University of Hawai‘i and University of Nevada, Las Vegas Nov. 13, but in the meantime, single UNLV football game tickets are available for $45.
