Kaua’i Pacific School
Students and faculty enjoyed themselves at recess on April 8 at Kaua’i Pacific School in Kilauea. Keiki rode on a swinging rope, shot a few hoops and helped out at the school’s weekly Friday Farmer’s Market, which features local fruit, homemade popcorn and produce and flowers straight from neighborhood gardens. The farmer’s market raises funds for environmental programs including field trips, guest speakers and the school’s garden program, as well as for student scholarships.
