Filipino Fiesta
The Filipino Fiesta Jan. 7 at Kaua’i Museum in Lihu’e was a day full of food, music and fun. Featuring the Kasibulan Filipino Dance Company and volunteers from the St. Raphael Filipino Catholic Club, it was the perfect slice of culture and entertainment. Guests feasted on pansit (noodles with shrimp, fish and vegetables) balatong (mung beans with shrimp and spinach) and kankanen (sweet rice with coconut and milk and sugar).
