Megan Deets Wins A $100 Foodland Shopping Spree

Megan Deets received an unexpected treat for Valentine’s Day when she correctly answered a very simple question posed by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative. The Kapa’a resident won a $100 gift certificate to Foodland, which she frequents at least once a week.

“Of all the main grocery stores onisland, it has the best organic selection and prices,” she says.

A legal assistant, Megan is originally from Oregon and moved to Kaua’i 10 years ago. She is married to Palani Ka’auwai, and they are expecting their first child in August.

Megan likes to peruse MidWeek Kaua’i on a regular basis, and finds reading features about local artists and new businesses particularly enjoyable.
